I wonder how many things we miss because we do not wait. Because we do not wait for God’s will. Because we do not wait for God’s timing. Because we take things into our own hands and rush forward following our flesh and this world and the devil. Instead of humbling ourselves before the Lord God almighty, praying our hearts out to Him, seeking and hearing Him, living in obedience to Him, and waiting for Him to lead and guide us as we go forward.
Friend, let us be vigilant in remembering that Jesus Christ is Lord and live in obedience to Him including when it comes waiting – for God’s will and God’s timing.
Oh, friend, let us pray, pray, and keep on praying!
OH, Father God, help us to humble ourselves before you. Help us to cry out to you in prayer. Help us to wait on you. Help us hear you. Help us obey you. Help us to know your will and your timing. Help us to wait for you to lead us, oh Lord. AMEN!
