What did God give us for Christmas? “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16 KJV).”There is no greater gift from the Lord than His sacrifice of His only begotten Son that we should have eternal life and never walk this journey on earth alone. Jesus took ours sins upon Himself so that our faith in Him gives us life forever. Please visit Walk by Faith Ministry at https://www.walkbyfaithministry.com.

Mother Theresa truly is a Christmas miracle. Thanks to God, awesome vet Dr. Brown of Loudoun Vet in Purcellville, VA, and her prayer warriors, Mother Theresa bounced back from her 2nd surgery since being attacked by a fellow rescue dog – so much so that her new nickname is Miss Piglets. She has a voracious appetite, a sign of how quickly she has recovered even at age 12 from 2 surgeries in just a matter of weeks. Please keep up your prayers as she continues forward! Praise the Lord! Thanks be to God and the phenomenal staff at Loudoun Vet Service in Purcellville, VA, including Dr. Brown, his surgeon, Mother Theresa has just arrived home from her 2nd surgery since being severely attacked by a fellow rescue dog. Even at 12 years old, despite a history of an owner that planned to shoot and kill her, a rescuer that abandoned her in flight from the police, a home that offered her a pen and then turned her in for rescue, and the dog attack, along with 2 big surgeries in a few weeks time, she is actually walking around her private bedroom suite looking for something to do! All glory to God! Thanks to all the incredibly generous people who have prayed for her, prayed for and supported me in being her caretaker, and sending in donations. A Christmas miracle for sure! Please visit Walk by Faith Ministry at https://www.walkbyfaithministry.com.

All glory goes to God and thanks to all the wonderful donors who helped Mother Theresa have her first big surgery after being attacked by a fellow rescue dog. When I had to send 2.5 year old Abigail to heaven for aggression – who wagged her tail to the vet’s and kissed my tears away – I knew on my own I would not have the strength to send Abigail to the Lord, take care of a severely injured dog, and raise the money for Mother Theresa. But God knew our need, and He took care of it all through incredibly generous hearts. Mother Theresa will finish up her healing process with a second surgery to sew up her neck where skin died off due to lack of blood supply given the severity of her injuries. She goes in for surgery December 23, and I am believing God will once again provide all the donations needed for her surgery. Thank you in advance for helping Mother Theresa to have a Merry Christmas. . . !Please visit Walk by Faith Ministry at https://www.walkbyfaithministry.com.

How hard it is to believe in the most trying of times that God truly knows our needs – and that He will supply them as promised when we follow His instructions. My year is ending with the same seemingly insurmountable challenges with which it began, and yet I know in my heart God knows my needs. When Jesus sent His followers out to do the work He called them to do, what instruction did He give them? “And He said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece (Luke 9:3 KJV).” Jesus knew He would provide for them, and He wanted them to trust. I also believe He did not want them to be distracted by worrying about their needs. My faith is being tried like never before, and clearly I have a long way to go in trusting God in the hardest of times. But one thing is for sure. I know that He knows my needs. And He does promise to provide. Please visit Walk by Faith Ministry at https://www.walkbyfaithministry.com.

For those who are following the story of Mother Theresa, the rescue dog who was badly attacked by a fellow rescue dog, she went to the vet yesterday for a follow-up. Her skin had started turning black, cracking open, and bleeding. The vet had expected this would possibly happen, as the blood after the fight was unable to reach her skin as needed. I have been instructed to put her skin under water for 20 minutes daily until the skin falls off, at which time the vet said she will need more surgery. Please keep her in your prayers and consider a donation for her care. Thanks to all the wonderful people who have stepped forward already with donations! Please visit Walk by Faith Ministry at https://www.walkbyfaithministry.com.

Last night when I cried out to the Lord – and oh did I cry – He gave me an answer to my question. How simple it was. “Believe.” At the tail end of the one of the hardest years of my life, with one great loss after tragedy after another, I see now what happened on my faith walk.Have you ever wondered in the midst of lost or drastically reduced faith exactly what happened? Why did you stop believing? In my case, I know. And the answer is biblical.I stopped believing because I got swallowed up in my circumstances. In the eye of a storm that seemed it would never end, not ever, I took my eyes off Jesus Christ. I placed them firmly on – my circumstances. And just like people throughout the Bible, without the Lord, guess what. I stopped believing. The Bible says: “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Cor 4:18 KJV).”Why did I stop believing? Why did God need to remind me last night that He wants me to believe? When the enemy threw one horrible thing after another in my direction, I did what Eve did in the garden. I set my eyes and thoughts exactly where the enemy wanted – off my God, and on the enemy’s hell. I forgot that the hard stuff is only temporal. God is eternal. It is not enough to know why I stopped believing. The next step is to seek the Lord’s forgiveness for taking my eyes off Him, for not trusting Him, and to return my eyes and heart to the Creator of all. Why did you stop believing?Believe. ‘Please visit Walk by Faith Ministry at https://www.walkbyfaithministry.com.
