A TRUE friend tells the TRUTH in love. When I asked a friend if she would do something for me and Walk by Faith Ministry, she did not do what I wanted. She did not give me what I asked her for. She did not go along with my request to please me. She went along with God to please Him.

My friend did not speak flattering words to me to pacify me. She spoke TRUE words to teach me. This is the same friend that went grocery shopping with her brand new, bright purple, totally bold, I FOLLOW JESUS t-shirt from Walk by Faith Ministry. When she received stare after stare, she didn’t run home to change her shirt to please the world. She wore her shirt and told the world the TRUTH. She follows Jesus. He comes first. This, my friend, is the sign of a TRUE friend. When she refused to comply with my request, and she chose to obey God and do what He had told her, she reminded me of this.
Jesus is my best friend, and it is His Truth that comes above all else. He is the way, the TRUTH, and the life (John 14:6). The sign of a true friend? Be faithful to the Lord above all else, and above anyone else. For He is Lord of all, and there is no better friend than Jesus the Christ.
