Know how often we should BLESS the Lord? ALL THE TIME! Know how often we should have praise in our mouths? CONTINUALLY! Friend, this is not my opinion! This is what the Bible says!
“…I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalms 34:1 NKJV
And you know something? God deserves our blessing and praising Him ALL THE TIME – forever!
But maybe you think this is impossible. After all, we have big struggles in life. Our circumstances can be unbelievably challenging. Our life stories can seem unbearable. How can we possibly bless and praise God when we are in the think of seemingly impossible trials and tribulations? My life has been really challenging with barely any breaks for decades. Rest assured for a really long time I could not fathom blessing and praising God, and for the most part I did not!
But God has taught me how to bless and praise Him even in the hardest of times. When we take our eyes off our circumstances and look to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible, when we focus on the love, mercy, grace, wisdom, kindness, goodness, blessedness, wondrousness, gloriousness, splendor, beauty, majesty, magnificence, patience, tenderness, power, sovereignty, lordship, promises, faithfulness, salvation, fellowship, friendship, protection, provision, healing, amazingness, and awesomeness etc. of God almighty, we cannot help but desire even yearn and crave to bless and praise the Lord – AT ALL TIMES!
Even when our mouths may be silent, our hearts can be filled with praise! Even when we do not bless and praise God aloud, our actions can show forth our exceeding love for and devotion to and adoration of God! Even when we are not singing our praises to God, our lifestyle can bless God! And in addition we can open our mouths wide and sing to God, praise the Lord, shout with joy to the Lord, proclaim our love for God to others!
Let us love, praise, honor, adore, sing to, bless, worship, thank, proclaim, and bring glory to God almighty in our thoughts, words, and actions – ALL THE TIME! And, when we fall short in this, let us repent and turn to the Lord and carry on blessing and praising God – forevermore! AMEN!
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV
