Does God Really Love You?

You’ve heard it a million times. You can say it. Repeat it. Think about it. Tell others about it. Quote the scriptures. Preach to the world about it. Roll your eyes because you’re tired of people telling you it. Consider it. Write about it. Read about it. But just because you can do all of this doesn’t mean you believe it. It’s one thing to know it. It’s another to believe it. God surely knew His kids would question it. Because His Word makes a distinction between KNOWING it and BELIEVING it. Knowledge isn’t the same as faith. Read God’s Word. Seek God’s face. Spend time with Him. Pray. Listen. Don’t stop at knowing it. Build up your faith and believe it. God really does love you.

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16 KJV

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV
