One of the biggest mistakes I have made over the years as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ is to jump into God’s will once He has made it known to me – without waiting for HIS TIMING.
Consider what God has to say about His purposes.
“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV
His purposes have seasons! There is a God-chosen time for them!
But sometimes whatever our reasons may be we jump into God’s will – before the season He has chosen.
Those who love Jesus are to obey Jesus!
“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:23 NKJV
Love God. Seek God. Seek God’s will. Seek God’s timing.
Don’t jump into His will. Wait for God’s timing. Then yield to God as His Holy Spirit leads you forth!
