Don’t Jump – WAIT

0

Ever been so excited, anxious, prideful, eager, desperate, frantic, impatient, angry, irritated, hurting, feeling responsible, in need of something, or anything else for that matter that you have made a rash and impulsive decision and jumped right into something believing that you simply have to get something done NOW before another minute goes by? Only to find that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea after all that you jumped in and didn’t wait?

I encourage you with all my heart NOT to jump but instead to WAIT. Wait? Yes, wait.

First, as we all should do regularly, purge yourself of any sin. Purify yourself before God. Humbly seek and receive His forgiveness for any sin in your heart, mouth, and actions.

Then, instead of jumping to take action apart from God and His will for you, I encourage you with all my heart to do this.

Pray to the Lord, seek the Lord, WAIT on the Lord, hear the Lord as He speaks to your heart through the Bible and by His Holy Spirit in line with the Bible and through His children if/as He leads you to get godly counsel. Then, when you are clear God has revealed His will to you, in His time, in His strength, according to His ways, with His wisdom, with His love, by His grace and mercy, at His Holy Spirit’s leading, for His glory, take action.

Don’t jump. Wait. Wait on the Lord. Cry out to Him and trust Him to answer and to lead you forth!

“The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:25 NKJV

Pray to God for His will. Pray to God for His wisdom. Pray, pray, pray! Amen!

“How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.” Proverbs 16:16 NKJV

Please don’t live according to the flesh. Live according to the glorious Spirit of almighty God!
