Freckles Gets Another Miracle!

Freckles knows all about miracles, and the latest one for Freckles is one of the very best! When Walk by Faith Ministry attended a local festival this past weekend, I was told I could not bring the ministry’s dogs. I asked if an exception could be made for one dog – one who loves festivals to no end because he prefers to spend 1/2 his life on his back receiving belly rubs. Guess who? Freckles! It just so happened a wonderful couple was passing through town for a wedding and fell instantly in love with Freckles.

They had just lost their beagle who looked and acted much like Mr. Freckles. Long story short? He now lives with the couple and their two children where he is treated and loved like royalty! Freckles was found stray in Ohio where he was headed for the gas chamber. He was whisked off to rescue, had several toes removed, and was transported to Walk by Faith Ministry in Virginia by two volunteer pilots on two-seater planes. He was then moved to South Carolina when I made the big move six months ago.

Leave it to God to be so amazingly creative. He knows what He’s doing, and He knows the timing. I have often been frustrated with how long it has taken for some of our dogs to be adopted, but God knows where they belong and waits until all the details are in place. This time, He saved a dog’s life in Ohio, transported him around the country, and orchestrated an adoption to a couple that is now entirely blessed by Mr. Freckles.
As for me, I am in awe of the Lord and how He truly works out all things for good for those who love Him.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
