Leave it to God to open doors the world tries with all its might to shut. As the world turns, striving and laboring with all its fleshly might, the Lord reminds us He watches over His Word: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts (Zech. 4:6 KJV).” So as hard as humans attempt to shut Jesus Christ out of public schools, the Lord knows how to open doors nobody else can so much as budge. Today, deeply humbled and infinitely blessed, I had the privilege of sharing the Lord with children at a public school – with my dear companions, three very special formerly homeless dogs. Red the German Shepherd, who helped save a homeless man’s life after rescue from certain death, wore reindeer antlers and a red bow with a bell; Winnie who lost her feet when she was run over by a train showed up in her wheelchair with reindeer antlers; and Glory with a huge red bow walked all the way in and out of the school despite being blind. As for Jesus, He reigned – so much so that the entire class requested a copy of the crumpled of paper I found on the beach years ago with a prayer asking Jesus into my life to be my Lord. Praise the Lord. Please see the entry below to watch the video – or watch it on You Tube and help spread the Word.
