I was running ragged. Super tired. Not feeling great. Some of my Covid symptoms trying to come back. A dreary drizzly day. Craving sunshine in the sky. And inside where I felt down-ish and belabored by the weight of my cares needing to be cast upon the Lord. Oh, God had such a sweet surprise for me as I walked with my special needs ministry dogs paralyzed Miss Mercy in her wheelchair and elderly Gracie struggling with her walking.
As I approached the front doors of yet another hotel in my life on the road for Jesus, two women walked toward us as they, too, approached the front door.
My vision was fuzzy thanks to my not wearing glasses most of the time. But God’s blessing became clear as I kept my eyes fixed on one of the women’s t-shirts.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” the t-shirt read.
Enough said. God sent me a t-shirt to bless me.
Maybe you, too, need the same blessing!
When we believe in and live surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ, we have all the strength we need – in Jesus. Sweet, sweet Jesus. Amen.
