God’s Hands Are NOT Full

“I place this in your hands,” I essentially prayed to God as I found myself worrying about paralyzed ministry dog Miss Mercy and trying to figure out how to handle an issue with her totally untypical for regular dogs but related to her paralysis.

That is when this message came to me. God’s hands are NOT full. What do I mean? Well, have you ever heard someone use the expression, “My hands are full”? When I tell people my hands are full, I am basically saying I have tons on my plate. I am all loaded up. I really can’t take on anything else. I’m as busy as can be. I’m right on the verge of being overloaded if I’m not already. And truth is in this world today it’s not uncommon when we have a need to go to someone who is too busy to talk, to listen, to help, to advise, to get together, to support, to encourage, to pray, etc. Their hands are full so to speak. Doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t love and care about us. But people’s hands get full.

But God is a different story! God’s hands are NOT too full. In other words, God ALWAYS has the love, time, and care for us to come to Him, for us to place our worries in His hands, for us to cast our cares upon Him, for us to pray to Him and seek Him, for us to come spend time with Him, to bestow upon us His love, wisdom, kindness, and comfort, etc. No matter how great our needs, no matter how often we have something we need help with, no matter how much we need to place in His hands, God in His amazing love for His children always has room in His hands for us to place in them what we need to pray to Him about and release to Him. Beautiful to think about, isn’t it? God is so awesome, awesome, awesome! Hallelujah!

p.s. I finished writing this then prayed emphatically, “God, I place EVERYTHING in your hands!” Oh, yes, glory to God!

“Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 55:22 NKJV

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 NKJV
