God’s Peace

0

The Bible shows us that blessedly by God’s grace alone He is the “God of peace”, and that we can have the “peace of God.” There are many Bible verses about the peace we can have through faith in and our lives being devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ. There is truly no peace we can have on this earth that can compare to the peace we can have in God.

Isn’t it something how much time we spend looking for peace on this earth when in fact any worldly peace such as is found in reading a good book, taking a walk by the ocean, listening to quiet music, etc. can never measure up to the peace we find in the Lord and in a forever relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to reflect on the peace you have found in the Lord, or the peace you desire to find in Him if you have not already done so, and to thank the Lord for His precious priceless peace. Thank you God!

Here are a few verses to bless and inspire you, and may the Lord get all the glory for the peace He brings to you through His Spirit, His heart, His love, His Word, and in every other way He blesses His children with His peace. Oh, be thankful! Thank the Lord for His peace and for all with which He blesses you each and every day of your life! Amen!

“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21 KJV

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” Colossians 3:15 KJV

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3

There are so very many more verses in the Bible about peace! So hoping you will be inspired to go look for them and enjoy them! Enjoy His peace! And be thankful!
