GOOD NEWS DAILY – December 14

Dear friend, …….

What an amazing time I had earlier this week when the ministry’s wheelchair doggies & I were invited to a big meeting of pastors and ministry leaders in New York City followed by a formal sit-down meal and Christmas joyful celebration. Yes, the doggies in their wheelchairs stood beside Pastor Carter Conlon of Times Square Church who headed up the wonderful event.

The wheelchair doggies and I then walked through Times Square as I passed out Gospel tracts before we caught a taxi back to where we’re staying in New York City this latest season of my life on the road for Jesus.

love & blessings,

Dear friend,

I’ve been so excited recently that I feel like I could burst out of my skin! For only one reason, friend. Because of the Lord Jesus Christ and my ever more intimate forever relationship with Him and the phenomenal opportunity He gives me day by day through my ministry work to love and glorify Him and to tell the world about Him so more and more people find and forever follow Him!

Sure there is much on this earth with which the Lord blesses us for which we can be excited and joyful and thankful, but may our number one reason to be excited each and every day be THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

love & blessings,

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!” Psalm 105:1

“You have it pretty good, Mr. Simeon,” I told one of my paralyzed streets ministry doggies. “You just don’t think you do.” I was prattling away in my Mommy-doggies little voice.

Immediately I saw the message. How tragic I have spent so much of my life pitying myself, complaining, being negative, seeing what’s wrong, etc., instead of being thankful to the Lord for all of His blessings most importantly Himself and a forever relationship with Him through faith in Christ as Lord.

We assuredly have trials in this life, but let us not forget daily to be thankful to the Lord!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1

I called an old friend one day at the prompting of the Holy Spirit who lives inside His followers and found out he had been crippled for years over something he felt he had done terribly wrong about which he was continually condemning himself. Some people are physically crippled, and some people are spiritually crippled. My friend had been unable to truly and freely go forward in his life because he was bound in self-condemnation. I prayed, and the Lord moved mightily and set my friend free.

If we are sincerely sorry for our sins and believe Jesus is Lord and died on the cross to pay our sin penalty and was raised from the dead, and we genuinely turn to God and His ways, we are FORGIVEN. After we are born again spiritually in this way, we can have the confidence the Lord will forgive us when we fall along the way and genuinely repent and turn back to Him.

The devil will try to convince us we are not forgiven. Let us not listen to the devil. Let us listen to the Lord and stand in faith concerning what His Word says! Let us not be crippled by self-condemnation, but be thankful to the Lord for His amazing mercy!

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:5-8

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” James 3:13-17

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:7

I have a loved one who is truly one of the wisest people I have ever met concerning the matters of this world. But he does not yet believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, and his wisdom is earthly. I have known Christians as well myself included who at times come up with seemingly wonderful wisdom concerning worldly issues. Oh, how people might call us wise! Oh, in our pride how wise we might even think we are!

Friend, there is no wisdom that even comes close to the wisdom of the Lord, His Word is filled with it from start to finish, and we who are His disciples can pray to Him and listen for the voice of His Holy Spirit giving us wisdom from above which will always line up with the Bible.

Let us be faithful in continually seeking the Lord including for wisdom, and let us live by His wisdom!

365 BLESSINGS is a devotional book I wrote that is available in print by contacting me at 843-338-2219 or via

Blessings 229-231

“Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:18-19

Three more blessings, hallelujah! Are you becoming accustomed by now reading this book to reading the Bible – hopefully daily! – and seeing all of the Lord’s blessings contained within its pages?

How about these? One, two, three. “FREE GIFT”. “JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE”. “MADE RIGHTEOUS”. In a nutshell, here they are. Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead so we can receive the FREE GIFT of God’s forgiveness and everlasting life with Him when we turn from our sins to Jesus as Lord fully placing our faith in Him with our lives committed to Him bearing the fruit to show forth our genuine faith and commitment. Jesus paid the price for us!

Next, when we receive Christ as Lord through repentance and faith placed in Him, we are GIVEN FOREVER LIFE. We are JUSTIFIED so we can RECEIVE EVERLASTING LIFE. We don’t deserve this justification. We receive it through Jesus and His death and resurrection.

As if that’s not enough, we are “MADE RIGHTEOUS”. We are NOT righteous. We are anything but righteous if we look honestly at our lives. We are ALL sinners hopelessly headed for hell and the lake of fire. But through Jesus we are “MADE RIGHTEOUS” in the eyes of God. Not only do we then receive the amazing reward of a forever relationship with God through receiving Jesus’ righteousness, but throughout the rest of our lives on this earth, the Lord refines us and conforms us to Himself whereby we learn how to truly live the way the Lord intended us to live all along. In a manner pleasing and honoring to Him according to His ways not our own.

Let us not neglect to thank the Lord for our blessings and to show our thankfulness in the way we choose to live for Him. Striving each and every day to humble ourselves before Him and to bring glory to His holy most blessed precious most honorable righteous most glorious everlasting name, AMEN!
