Happy Birthday to Me !!!!!!!!!!!

October 16 is my birthday, and I’m telling the world! And just in case I miss anybody, I would greatly appreciate it if you would help tell the whole wide world that October 16 is my birthday! Happy, happy birthday to me!!!!! Now why in heaven’s name at the age of 46 do I need to get the attention of absolutely everybody? I can promise you, it’s not for the sake of chocolate cupcakes, great big birthday presents with pink ribbons, and so everyone can sing perfectly out of key. It’s because I have a very special birthday wish.

Last year, I started the SWEET DREAMS PROJECT: Helping the Homeless Dream and Sleep. The project involves preaching the Word of God to help people live the dreams God has for their lives, while providing them a better night’s sleep out on the streets.

I am celebrating my birthday on October 16 by preaching God’s Word at a soup kitchen in Savannah, GA. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to give what the Lord has given me. Himself.
