Hurting in Their Hearts

She is hurting in her heart. He is hurting in his heart. They are hurting in their hearts.

Ever stop to consider the people being mean, those being yucky, the man acting angry, the woman being distant and aloof, the people acting cold and callous, the woman seeming uncaring, the man showing no compassion, the people who fail to love us, those falling short, the rude man and the icky woman, that they may be hurting in their hearts?

Oh, friend, I am so sensitive. I am so easily offended. I am so quickly hurt. And often the last thing that comes to mind is that those who upset me, those being unloving toward me and/or toward others, etc. may be hurting in their hearts.

Let us love, let us forgive, let us be merciful, let us show compassion, let us be patient and kind no matter how we are treated, and let us pray, pray, pray for any and all as the Lord so leads us.

Whether or not God calls us to stay in a relationship or situation etc. involving someone being unloving and unkind and uncaring etc., let us walk in the love and light and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 NKJV

“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.” Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” Matthew 5:44 NKJV
