I Pee-D on Myself!

There is something hilarious, ridiculous, and absurd not to mention embarrassing about what I am about to tell you, but with it is an exceedingly serious and important message for us all.

Long ago, when I was an alcoholic at an Ivy League university, desperately obsessed with alcohol, sugar, men, and bars, I got so drunk one night while doing my usual bar-hopping that I pee-d on myself.

I was wearing light-colored pants so the pee was unbelievably obvious and most likely stunk as well. I had the perfect solution in my drunken mind. Utterly convinced I needed to keep drinking, going to bars, and chasing after men, I went into a public restroom.

I poured a bunch of water all over my pants. Why? I figured if I could make my pants look all one color nobody would notice the pee. I finished with my mission and off I went to carry on with my delightful drunken debauchery-filled evening.

Ridiculous, right? So where is the entirely serious message in this? OFTENTIMES WITH OUR SIN WE TRY TO COVER OUR SIN UP WITH MORE SIN AND TO TRY TO CONVINCE OURSELVES AND THOSE AROUND US WE ARE NOT SINNING SO WE CAN GO RIGHT ON SINNING. MEANWHILE, OUR SIN IS RIDICULOUS AND WRONG AND IT STINKS!

Meanwhile, no matter our attempts to stay in our sin, GOD SEES OUR SIN ALL ALONG! And the end result of a lifestyle of sin if we do not repent and turn to Jesus Christ as Lord is DEATH, HELL, AND THE LAKE OF FIRE IN FOREVER TORMENT APART FROM GOD!

If you are foolishly trying to hide your sin and to continue in it, I beg you with all my heart to humble yourself, believe Jesus is Lord and died for your sins and was raised from the dead, and commit your life now and forever to Him!
