I Want to Escape!

Ever felt like escaping from your current circumstances? Like life is just too hard? Like your situation is just too much to bear? Like you want out of what you are in but feel stuck? Like whatever you are facing has just gone on for too long? Like you are desperate for a break and just can’t seem to get one? Like somehow someway there must be an escape from it all but nothing you have tried in the way of escape is working? Friend, there is hope!

There is an escape! An escape like none other! The ONLY escape that is GUARANTEED to provide you with love, peace, hope, joy, refreshing, renewal, rejuvenation, comfort, healing, friendship, fellowship, wisdom, discernment, guidance, and growth.

No matter what we face, no matter how hard, no matter how impossible, no matter how we feel, no matter what, when we turn to Jesus, surrender to Jesus, focus on Jesus, put our trust in Jesus, rest in Jesus, look to Jesus, put our expectation in Jesus, place our faith in Jesus, spend time alone with Jesus, read the Bible, praise and worship the Lord, pray to God, seek God, listen for the voice of God, hear God, obey God, experience and enjoy the Lord’s presence, we will find unimaginable, unfathomable love, mercy, grace, truth, strength, refreshing, a break from it all, an escape from it all, encouragement, a listening ear, and hope inexpressible.

This does NOT mean our hard circumstances, our trials and tribulations, etc. will be gone. But in Jesus, from Jesus, and through Jesus we can find a temporary escape and receive all we need to press on!

Need an escape? Run to Jesus!

And cry out, cry out, cry out to the Lord! Pour out your heart to Him! Pray to Him! Bow down before Him! And lean back on His everlasting glorious heavenly arms! Amen!

“The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, ‘Destroy!’” Deuteronomy 33:27 NKJV

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1 NKJV

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV
