“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.” 2 Cor. 1:3-5…………

Yesterday I had the wonderful pleasure of introducing a young woman I met recently to another woman whom I met recently both of whom had hearts that had been broken. The young woman had experienced a broken heart some time ago when a relationship ended. The other woman had experienced a broken heart much more recently.

How blessed I was to watch the younger woman share with the other woman how the Lord had used her season of having a broken heart to teach her that He wants to be her number one love and to show her that she needed to fall in love with Him as her greatest love of all time. The other woman was so receptive to the message from the younger woman because she knew the younger woman understood the emotions she was experiencing due to a relationship ending. Jesus used the one woman to minister to the other and showed them both that our life experiences aren’t simply opportunities for Him to draw us to Himself and to grow us in His image. But they are opportunities for the Lord to prepare us to love and encourage and comfort and pray for others all in the context of believing in and forever following the Lord Jesus Christ.

God has healed the young lady’s heart. Now He is using her healed heart to reach the heart of another.

Inspiring, hope-filled, and encouraging, isn’t it?
