latest LITTLE LETTER FROM LARA

“It could be that one,” I thought to myself as I got ready to start writing today’s GOOD NEWS DAILY. I had just seen how very few people had read yesterday’s GOOD NEWS DAILY, and how easy it would have been to get totally discouraged. And despairing. And down and depressed. And then start thinking why not just give up the writing, so few people are reading it anyway. That’s when those words came to me. “It could be that one.”

This world is so about numbers, isn’t it? The Lord Jesus Christ so loved and cared for every person while on this earth that He would take His precious time to minister to one single person when He could have been preaching instead to mass crowds of people. Every person mattered to Him. Every person matters to Him.

And the same should be true for us. Maybe only one person will read today’s edition of GOOD NEWS DAILY. The world would tell me that would be a waste of my time. But that one person could need to hear the only way to a forever relationship with God is through the Lord Jesus Christ. Or that person could be a committed Christ follower already but desperately need some love and encouragement today.

Please let’s care about everyone, friend. And let’s go to any lengths for one person just as we would for a million.
