Sometimes I have to squint in the dark in search of the light, but always it is there – announcing, affirming, reaffirming, validating, and pointing people to the author of faith and everything good. Sometimes I am easily lost in the morass of humanity’s blackout of sin, whether it be my own or another’s, but then I am catapulted into greater awareness of the Lord’s ever presence above all else.
I grope for Him as I slip downward as I focus wrongly on what is wrong with the world, I remember my focus must be set on Him, and I climb upward in jubilation that I have a Savior in Jesus who is not only here to lift me up and over all the world’s brokenness. He offers His salvation to anyone who will confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that He is Lord and was raised up from his death on the cross by our Father in heaven. Will you take His hand and believe?
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 New Living Translation
