The Lord’s love does not ever fail (1 Cor. 13:8), His mercy goes on forever (Psalm 136:1), and His grace is enough (2 Cor. 12:9), so shouldn’t we who are made in His image and are to be conformed to His image extend to others LOVE, GRACE, & MERCY just as we receive it from Him? YES!
I woke early one morning with this message strong on my heart as I believe the Lord wanted to show me – and for me to share with you. Love, grace, and mercy are three aspects of the Lord’s character to which we also are called.
How do I know? Please see the verses below, and just as He blesses you with His love, grace, and mercy, please aspire and strive to extend the same to others. The love, grace, and mercy He bestows upon us are not just for us, are they? He gives to us enough for ourselves and to bestow upon others. So may we do just that!
Lord, my God, please oh please help us to RECEIVE your love, grace, and mercy. But please don’t let us be selfish with it. Please help us to pour it out on the world around us also. Let there be a continual flow of your love, grace, and mercy into and through us. In your strength, Father, please! Amen!
