Man With a Dog Testimony

“Your kindness blesses me,” I called out to a man as I walked with my special needs ministry dogs.

My heart was filled with thanksgiving for his kindness.

He was walking his dog a good distance from where I was walking mine.

I had seen the man a number of times before and knew his big dog showed strong aggression tendencies toward other dogs.

I asked him one day if when he sat outdoors where I walked my dogs he would be willing to walk his dog in another direction for just a few minutes so I could safely walk by with my dogs.

In a world filled with unkindness, with meanness and selfishness, with lack of care and consideration, with an absence of love and so much unkindness, this man every time he saw me with paralyzed Miss Mercy and special needs Grace showed me kindness by leading his dog in another direction.

We can’t change the world, friend, but you and I can walk in another direction than this world is and bless others in showing them the love and kindness of the Lord Jesus Christ!

“But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:5-8 NKJV
