I was thrilled and so joyful as I watched paralyzed ministry dog Miss Mercy perched on her knees as she desperately and delightedly gobbled up a yummy orange Fruit Loop. The combination of decades of relentless struggles, an intense ministry, and a falling-apart world makes it such I am prone to forget to acknowledge, enjoy, and praise God for His goodness and endless blessings – right down to watching a paralyzed dog excitedly gobbling up a Fruit Loop.
A reminder to us all no matter how hard our circumstances and how challenging this world that we still have countless opportunities to enjoy and thank God for His goodness – Fruit Loops and all!
Thank you, oh Lord, for my sweet special needs ministry dogs, for Fruit Loops, for you most of all, and for your blessedness and blessings, AMEN!
