My Red Pepper Testimony

Sometimes I land in places, and with people, and in circumstances, and in situations and realize God did NOT send me there. I may have thought I had good reason to go there, but deep in my heart I realize I was not meant to be there. Herein lies an important lesson when it comes to obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Once we know we are not where God wants us to be, whether in terms of location, in circumstances, at a job, in a relationship, at a church, with a group of people, whatever, wherever, or with whomever it may be, we have a responsibility.

We need to pray to the Lord, seek Him, hear Him speak to our hearts in line with the Bible, and OBEY HIM regarding any changes He wants us to make.

We can try to convince ourselves it is perfectly fine to be where God does NOT want us to be, but this is not so.

Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ entails denying self, taking up our crosses, and following Him wherever the Holy Spirit of God leads us to be.

“Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” Luke 9:23-24 NKJV
