Return to God

“Tell my people this. I love them, but they have to come back to me. They have strayed away. They have gone to places I have asked them to move away from. They must return to me. They have not done as I have asked. Why is this? They have gone to places that have lured them. They have allowed themselves to be lured. They have gone away when I have asked them to come to me. It is not too late. Ask them to return. Tell them they must come now. I will give them what they desire. The love they seek is in me.”

Dear Lord, forgive us for allowing ourselves to be lured away. Forgive us for not doing as you have asked. Forgive us for going away when you have asked us to come to you. Thank you, Lord, that it is not too late. Please help us to return to you. Please help us to come now. Thank you that you have for us what we desire. Thank you that the love that we seek is in you. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for your mercy, for your forgiveness, for your great compassion that is so far beyond what we deserve. We need you Lord. More than ever. Please bring your lost sheep home. Amen. 

Jer 35:15 “I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.”
