I could stop preaching the Gospel, stop ministering the Lord’s love to a world in need, stop praying, stop writing and publishing, stop distributing the Lord’s provisions to people in need, and turn all 18 dogs (paralyzed ones included) into shelters to almost certainly be euthanized. Maybe if I were in my right mind I would shut it all down and “go get a real job” so I can get a big income, set up a retirement account, go on vacations, and stop being on call 24-7 for the Lord’s work. But I’m not in my right mind.

The Bible says I have “the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16)”, and my love for the Lord translates into obedience to Him – very specifically denying myself, taking up my cross, and following Jesus (Luke 9:23). So if I’m not shutting down the ministry, then why am I tell you all this. If you think it’s so I can beg you for the money necessary to keep up with the ministry’s growth, you’re flat out wrong again.
Because I believe with every ounce of my heart that the Lord is my provider, and that He will provide when, how, and through whom He desires. So why exactly am I tell you all this? For one specific reason. I would like to ask you to pray for me, to pray for Walk by Faith Ministry, to pray for the countless people whose lives God touches through my life and this ministry, for the 18 very special doggies in my care, for my preaching, writing, and ministering to people, for my care of the dogs, and for a big increase in donations and provision necessary to support the ministry.

And, most of all, I would like for you to stand in faith with me that the Lord will supply all of my and the ministry’s needs so long as I continue to love and serve Him with all my heart and to be in His will as He leads me forward.
I was criticized as a child for quitting lots of stuff, but I see now my tenacity when applied to the Lord and the life and purpose He has for me has turned out to be an enormous blessing.
Thank you for your prayers, for your faith, and for walking on this journey with Jesus with me.
