Is there anything in your life you are extra thankful for? I don’t think I’ve ever thought about Thanksgiving as much as I have since I started writing this book! For whom and what I am most thankful? The Lord and my forever relationship with Him and the Bible! Whom and what else? People I love! Well, God has given me a love for all people. I am thankful truly for all people. And I am extra thankful for those closest to me like my Mom and Dad and brother and aunt! And my beautiful friends! And I am so incredibly thankful for my precious ministry dogs! My ministry work for God! My writing! All God’s provision! Hope! Joy! Kindness! Peace! Compassion! People who care! The warm sunshine! The beach!
I am smiling as I write this. I believe our Thanksgiving to God brings Him joy, and I believe being thankful brings us joy also! Feeling joyful as you read this? Why not spend some time thinking about – and maybe writing about – what makes you thankful! Please be sure to tell the Lord! As much as Thanksgiving can make us joyful, let’s make sure bringing God joy & Thanksgiving is our highest priority when it comes to thankfulness!
