The Man Who CRIED OUT!

0

Imagine the Lord Jesus Christ leaving a city with a massive number of people when suddenly a poor blind man begging cried out His name. Know what happened when a bunch of people warned him to stop crying out to Jesus? Perhaps you think the blind man quickly shut up. Surely he was ashamed, embarrassed, worried about what others thought of him, not wanting to upset anyone or face their ridicule and judgment, refusing to go against what others thought he should do.

Oh, not so! This man was so desperate for help and so convinced Jesus Christ was the answer and so confident Jesus was the one he needed and so desirous for the Lord’s mercy that HE CRIED OUT EVEN LOUDER! And when Jesus responded, the man CAME TO JESUS!

Not only did Jesus miraculously heal the blind man, but Jesus said the man was made whole because of his FAITH.

The blind man so BELIEVED he needed Jesus and was so FOCUSED ON JESUS and on GETTING WHAT HE NEEDED FROM JESUS that he was willing to lay aside any worry about what others thought of him and of how they would respond to him!

Friend, we need to be SO DESPERATE FOR GOD, and SO BELIEVE JESUS IS THE ANSWER, and be SO FOCUSED ON THE LORD, and SO FEAR GOD NOT FEAR MAN that we are willing to forsake any concern of what others think and of how they may respond to us!

Sadly in this day and age seems so many of us are so worried about what others think of us and will say about us and will do to us if we BELIEVE IN JESUS and CRY OUT TO JESUS and COME TO JESUS and LIVE FOR JESUS that we are driven by our FEAR OF MAN instead of by our FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Let us lay aside what others think of us and CRY OUT TO GOD DAY AND NIGHT NOT ONLY FOR OURSELVES BUT PRAY, PRAY, AND PRAY for people all around the world! And let us humbly and faithfully BELIEVE IN AND FOLLOW JESUS – now and forevermore!

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.” Luke 9:26 NKJV

Please be encouraged in reading the story of the blind man crying out to Jesus!

Cry out, cry out, oh cry out to the Lord! Amen!

“Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.” Mark 10:46-52 NKJV
