“Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, “Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.”” Acts 23:1
“By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Hebrews 11:5
When the Spirit of Christ who lives inside His followers led me to these two scriptures, I knew there was a powerful message in how they fit together. Both mighty men of God left behind legacies of pleasing the Lord. They lived long, long ago, but to this very day they are remembered for how they lived to love and honor the Lord.
What legacy will you and I leave behind, friend? Are you and I living each and every day with our highest desire to love, honor, please, obey, and worship the Lord?
If we’re not, it’s time to make a change. May now be the time!
