I’ve been going through trials. I’ve been going through tribulations. They’re big for me, but little compared with the world’s troubles. It would be so easy to quit – or to press on and do what the Lord has called me here to do. If you know me, you know I am as tenacious as a pit bull terrier. And if you know pit bulls, you know what kind of tenacity I’m speaking of.
I may be tenacious with little stuff, but I’m tenacious beyond description with the biggest thing of all. The Lord. I simply won’t quit on Him. I’m going all the way with Him. Even when it’s hard. Even when it’s so hard I could crawl under the covers and never come out. But I’m coming out. Oh, yes I am. I’m pressing into the Lord, and I’m pressing on with the Lord.
And not only am I pressing on with the Lord, I am pressing on with what He has called me to do. If the devil thought he could stop me from praying, preaching, writing and publishing, distributing the Lord’s provisions to people in need, and providing sanctuary-style care for formerly homeless special needs and senior dogs, he was dead wrong.
In the Lord’s strength, for the Lord’s glory, I am pressing on! I pray He would reach your heart, touch and transform your life in some little or enormous way, through the work He has called me to do.
