I have been in the New York City area for just over a week in my latest location of being on the road for Jesus for the past 4.5 years by the grace of God. I will only be here a very short season before the Lord leads me on and am making the most of my time here. I am staying in New Jersey just outside New York City and have had amazing times thus far of walking the streets of New York City and praying for the city and passing out my Finding the Light Gospel tract which includes my personal story and the Gospel message and praying for people and ministering to them as the Lord leads.
Despite my extreme fatigue when I arrived in the area, God has given me His love, grace, mercy, strength, power, and energy by His Holy Spirit. I am in awe of how many lives He has reached through this little vessel, servant, and daughter of His here in this area along with all the other areas He has sent me so far as well as worldwide through my writing. The Lord gets ALL the glory. I am NOTHING without Him. I wish you could see me as I walk the streets. I am walking in my calling and ecstatic and so filled with His love and mercy it’s astounding. He has given me boldness and courage no matter what I have faced over the years. Scary people, being yelled at, hated, rejected, cursed at, hated, etc. He has also given me an extreme mercy for “the least of these” – for those in dire need. He leads me down the streets of New York City.
I don’t give out tracts and stop to talk to every person. I simply entrust myself to God and to His Holy Spirit placing on my heart to whom I am to speak, to whom I am to give out a tract, etc. Just a few days ago, I found a line of people waiting to get into a soup kitchen. I asked one of the people in charge if he wanted my tracts. He said something like, “We’re here to give out food. You can give them out yourself.” God had led me to that very street at the very time. I got to go person by person down the line of homeless and low-income people and offer my tract. Almost every person took one, praise God. Then off I went. I love to leave them with people passed out from alcohol and drugs and/or sleeping on the streets. I leave them by their bodies so they wake and find them. I love to leave them in the guitar cases and bags of people playing music to make money.
I love to put them in the cups homeless people hold for people to toss money in. Oh, how I delight in telling the people about Jesus. Today, Lord willing, I am headed back into New York City to “sound the warning” – to call people to repentance through my heart, mouth, and Finding the Light tracts. Jesus Christ is Lord, He is God, He is the only way to everlasting life, the only way to be saved from God’s wrath and the punishment of death, hell, and the lake of fire. He died on the cross to pay our sin penalty and to be raised from the dead. All who turn from our sins, believe in Him as Lord and in His death and resurrection, truly turning our hearts and lives over to God and His ways, we are forgiven, given the promise of forever life with the Lord, and indwelt by God’s Holy Spirit. We are to live for Jesus and no longer for self. We are to live according to God’s ways and no longer according to the world’s ways.
This world is running out of time. God will only hold back His wrath for so long. God sent me to the New York City area at this time to warn the people to turn to the Lord, and soon He will send me on. I hope He may send me back again as I love doing ministry in this area, but I must be faithful to God and follow His Holy Spirit as He leads me forth. There are times I am on the streets or in hotels with really scary people. God keeps me safe. And I thank God for every person who prays for me and who donates to help me to fulfill my life’s calling. Time to get my doggies ready and put my tracts in my bag to begin another day of telling the world about the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
