Wait. Trust Me.

“Wait,” the Holy Spirit of God spoke to my heart.

But that was not all. “Trust me,” He said.

Is the Lord speaking through this message to you?

When life is hard, when questions are unanswered, when something needs fixing, when my heart is hurting, when worry is trying to take over, when I am super uncomfortable, when I can’t stand the place I am in, when my circumstances are challenging, when someone is hurting and needs help, when I can’t hold back the tears any longer, when I feel so incredibly alone, etc., I tend to want to hurry forward. To rush ahead. To try to make something happen. To change things. To feel better. To fix what needs fixing. To find the answers I desperately need. Etc.

Sometimes God wants us to move forward. But sometimes God wants us to simply be still and wait. To pray and seek Him. To put our trust in Him. To believe He will lead us according to His perfect will in His perfect timing for His glory.

Need to wait and trust the Lord? If the answer is yes, don’t just wait. Wait and PRAY!

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalms 46:10 NKJV

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
