When the Lord made clear He wanted me to get rid of something, I decided to hold onto it. Why? LACK OF TRUST in God to provide. FEAR I might need what He told me to get rid of. PRIDE as I felt I knew best. FOOLISHNESS in that I figured I better keep it “just in case”. ALL SIN. I needed to get rid of what He told me to get rid of – and ALL THE SIN!
Jesus Christ is Lord. When the Lord tells us to get rid of something, we need to GET RID OF IT.
