If there is something the Lord has called you specifically to do, in other words you, personally, something He has spoken from His heart to your heart, and that you know for certain is His will for your individual life, and that it falls in line with His Word as His will is always in line with His Word, and you’re believing you can’t do it, I’m here to encourage you and to confidently and emphatically tell you, YES YOU CAN DO IT!
As someone told me long ago, the Lord equips us to do what He calls us to do. He enables us to what He calls us to do. He gives us every ounce of love, mercy, faith, hope, grace, peace, strength, physical provision, absolutely everything we need to fulfill His will for our lives. Everything. Without any exception. If you are a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, yes, a COMMITTED follower of Christ, everything you need to do whatever God is calling you to do is in Christ, through Christ, for Christ. By the Holy Spirit of God who lives in Christ’s followers, through the Bible which is our road map for life, and through Christ’s Body, our fellow Christ followers, and however, whenever, wherever, through whomever He desires, God gives us whatever we need to fulfill His will each and every day of our lives.
Our flesh may tell us we can’t do what God calls us to do, the world around us may tell us we can’t do what God calls us to do, and the devil may tell us we can’t do what God call us to do, but we CAN do what God calls us to do when we place our trust in Him, when we seek what we need from Him and receive what He gives us, and when we follow the lead of His Spirit as He guides us forth for the glory of the Lord.
If you are struggling to believe you can do what God has called you to do, examine your heart and see whose voice you are believing, His or yours, the world’s, and/or the devil’s. Believe HIM. And see where you are placing your trust and dependence, in and on Him, or in yourself and this world. Place your trust in and dependence on HIM.
You CAN do what God calls you to do when your heart and life are His through the Lord Jesus Christ, and when you are living not for yourself and this world, but for God almighty, living and breathing to bring HIM glory!
