You are judging. Do not. Pray.
Early morning. I heard the words clear as day. No doubt where they came from. The Holy Spirit was speaking to my heart. Loudly and clearly. With this message I sensed strongly I needed to share with others.
I had been thinking about a very, very, very large group of people. People many of whom the Lord may in fact be pretty upset with. But God’s Spirit who lives inside His followers brought strong chastening because once again I was judging the people. And it is not my place, nor our place, to judge and condemn people.
Pride. Arrogance. Judgment. Condemnation. Fear. Worry. Hurt. Bitterness. A whole bunch of sin in my heart. Enough with it all. Once again, it had to go. I needed to repent. But that was not all.
The Lord brought strongly to mind I had the perfect opportunity not just early that morning. But on an ongoing basis. The perfect opportunity to PRAY FOR THEM.
Simple and powerful directive from God.
YOU ARE JUDGING THEM. DO NOT. PRAY.
Is it possible this message is for you, friend?
God, forgive us all! Cleanse us all! Purify us all! Teach us all your ways! Help us not judge, oh Lord! Remind us to pray! Help us to pray according to your will for every person on this earth you want us to pray for! Even those we would give just about anything NOT to pray for! Oh, God, help us humble ourselves before you! Draw us to yourself! Save the unsaved! Bring us all into the place you want us to be! Humbly and wholly yours – forever! Oh Lord, THANK YOU for hearing and answering my cry, oh Lord, AMEN!
“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:1-5 KJV
“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:” Luke 6:37 KJV
“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.” Romans 14:10-13 KJV
“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
