You Were Once That Way

I was super irritated when I saw a man doing something that really bothered me that he had been told several times by someone in authority not to do that was inconsiderate of others and could create some trouble ultimately if others followed his example.

“You were once that way,” the Holy Spirit essentially spoke to my heart.

Now that God had grown and changed me, I was pridefully judging someone else for disobedience, inconsiderateness, and disrespect of others which had once been a massive part of my life.

I needed to repent. Do you?

“Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.” Romans 14:4 NKJV

“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18 NKJV
