Your Heart’s Cry

0

“I want to please you so badly,” I said silently and passionately to God.

What a long, long way God has brought me. He has made this change in me. I did not make it myself. He has transformed and is transforming me by His Holy Spirit. He is doing this through teaching me the Word and through an amazingly intimate personal relationship with Himself and much, much time spent alone with Him over the years. He has turned me from living purely and pitifully for self to yearning to be pure and pleasing to Him as I seek desperately daily to live totally devoted to Him.

And no pleasure on this earth can compare to the Lord Jesus Christ and a forever intimate relationship with Him and experiencing and feeling the Lord’s presence when I am living in obedience to Him.

My heart’s cry is to love, praise, worship, serve, obey, honor, adore, glorify, please, and bring pleasure and joy to the Lord as I live totally devoted to the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Savior of the world forevermore – and to help others to become and remain totally devoted followers of the Lord also.

May your heart’s cry be to be totally devoted to the Lord God almighty forevermore also – and to pray, encourage, and help others to be the same!

If this is not already your heart’s cry, may today, even as you read this message, mark for you a new beginning!

“I want to please you so badly,” I prayed.

May you pray your own prayer – and keep on praying day by day – showing the Lord in your prayers, in your heart, in your words, and in your decisions and actions you are humbly and wholly totally devoted to Him forever and ever, AMEN!

Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.” Psalms 86:9-12 NKJV
