A Little Letter from Lara Love

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
Dear friends,

If you’re accustomed to seeing my latest Daily Inspiration most days of the week, and you wonder where oh where has Lara Love and her Daily Inspiration gone, or if you’ve just signed up for Daily Inspiration to be sent to you and wonder if and when you will ever see it, please wonder no more. I’d like to share a little of my heart.

There is nothing more important in the entire universe than to love, serve, and worship the Lord with all our hearts, to repent of our sins and believe in Jesus as Lord and become committed forever followers of God, to go through the sanctification process of God by His Spirit through His Word transforming us as He grows us in His image, and to help build God’s Kingdom by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and doing the individual work to which God has called each of us to bring glory to His name.

The Lord has been doing a mighty work inside of me as He purifies me and cleanses me and further prepares me to be a vessel for His glory on earth and to spend eternity with Him. He by His Spirit has been refining me; leading me to repentance over and again to purge me of sin, sometimes in little ways and other times in extraordinarily big and powerful ways; teaching me His ways; speaking to me personally in line with His Word; stretching me as He grows me; loving me; healing me; bathing me in His tender mercy; and teaching me how to better love Him, to more diligently serve Him, to become holy as He is and calls us all to be; and plowing the ground and sowing His sweet and mighty seeds in my heart and life for further fruit to be borne in my life’s calling as an evangelist and author as I continue learning day by day how to abide in the Lord Jesus Christ and to follow Him with all that I am.

I am so excited to press forward in loving God, in learning of my beloved Christ, in growing in the light of the Lord by His careful, patient instruction, and in writing and ministering to people as the Lord so lovingly and graciously leads me and as I continue to come to truly learn, understand, and put into practice what it means to genuinely believe in and wholeheartedly follow Him.

As humbled, blessed, joyful, and excited as I am to press on in my walk with the Lord and my life’s calling, I am tired. More accurately, I am exceedingly exhausted from years of pushing myself hard in ministry coupled with unbelievable stress and ugly spiritual battles courtesy of Satan and decades of heartache caused by others and the trials of this life, along with caring for the ministry’s special needs and senior rescued dogs, all the while living on a super bare-bones personal and ministry budget. I am quite sure rest will be, and must be, a significant part of this season of my life despite how much I still tend to fight against it!

My flesh is exhausted beyond measure, but my spirit is strong because I am cleaving with all my might to the Lord and His Word, ever filling myself with the Word, ever listening to the Spirit of God as He teaches me the Word, ever clinging to God as He fills me with His love, strength, and mercy, pouring into me His Spirit day by day, hour by hour.

I look so very forward to continuing on with my Daily Inspiration when He leads me, whether soon or down the road, whether as often as I was, less often, or more, and all other aspects of my ministry as the Lord leads me, and thank you for your prayers and patience as I wait on my sweet and mighty loving Father to lovingly lead me on, step by step, as I walk by faith with the One who lights my path and fills my heart with gladness and reminds me breath by breath of His everlasting love.

Please keep me in your prayers if you are so led, and please include in your prayers that the Lord would continue to supply my every need in order that I may continue to dedicate every breath of my life to bring Him love, honor, praise, and glory! For any help the Lord might lead you to give to me in continuing forth in my life’s calling, I thank you in advance.

With love beyond measure in Christ my King,

Lara
