Please understand I do not speak for God. He speaks for Himself in His Word, and anything we humans perceive to hear from Him MUST be backed up by His Word. God does not speak against His own Word. I do believe God sometimes chooses to speak through His people, and I do believe He has done this with this message. If you hear something that does not line up with the Bible, it is not from God. I believe the Lord spoke this message into my heart this morning, and I believe it is scriptural. If you believe this message is scriptural, and that it is for you, I pray you would go before the Lord to seek His face and do as He desires…….
Rest. You strive. You fight by yourselves. You forget about me. I am your God. You don’t treat me as such. You come to me when you please. You wander away. You come back when you need something. Is this what you would desire if you were me? Would you want your children to treat you this way? You would not want to be loved like this.
I have asked you to love me first. How can I be your first love when you spend most of your time away from me? I call you back, and you come. And then off you go again. This is not the relationship I desire. I did not create you for this.
You are wandering sheep. This is not my desire. I have convicted you with this message, but now I want to know. What will you do with this? Will you go back to your busy lives, living as you please? Or, will you come to me, and stay?
I have set before you life, as I have told you. I have told you to choose life. Yet you continue to choose the world and the ways of it. You honor me with your lips, this is what my Word says. You tell people you love me. You go to church on Sundays. But do you love one another? Do you love me? I already know your heart. The world may not. I do.
It is time to repent. It is not enough that you say you’re sorry. You have broken my commandment to love me. It is time to come back and do as I desire. You are afraid – of losing all you have lived for. Yet you have lived for worldly desires, and none of this will last. It will perish. But I go on forever. What will you choose? Will you choose life?
You have played the harlot as my Word says, committing adultery with your own desires, placing them above me, making gods out of your lusts. It is time to come to me. My mercy endures, but you will not have it if you do not come.
Do not be ashamed of me. Neither be afraid. I call. Will you answer? Will you continue to wander, or will you come? Give me your life. Your words mean very little. I want to see it in your walk. Come with me. I am God. Fear me.
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ AND STUDY THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES. LET THE LORD SPEAK TO YOU THROUGH HIS WORD. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO BEFORE HIM AND SEEK HIS FACE. LET HIM SPEAK INTO YOUR HEART. IF YOU NEED TO REPENT, REPENT. NO MATTER WHAT, I PRAY YOU MAKE THE COMMITMENT TO GIVE HIM EVERYTHING…….
“Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him;…” Psalm 37:7 NASB
“Thus says the LORD to this people, “Even so they have loved to wander; they have not kept their feet in check. Therefore the LORD does not accept them; now He will remember their iniquity and call their sins to account.” (Jeremiah 14:10 NASB) (REMEMBER THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS AND WHAT HE DID ON THE CROSS WE CAN REPENT AND BE FORGIVEN. THIS SCRIPTURE IS FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT)
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33 NASB)
“And He said to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ “This is the great and foremost commandment. “The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’“On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40 NASB)
