Alone with the Lord!

I can’t think of a more beautiful and precious and intimate time when it comes to Thanksgiving to God than spending time alone with Him praising and worshiping Him and thanking Him for whatever is on our hearts for which to thank Him! The more I follow Jesus, the less I have found enjoyment in the typical worldly enjoyments of this life on earth. But something I find enjoyable more than words can say is taking walks in the fresh air with God praising Him, praying to Him, singing to Him, seeking Him, hearing Him, repenting when I need to repent, asking Him for direction, pouring out my heart to Him, and showing Him my Thanksgiving in my heart, out of my mouth, and in the delight I find in spending time alone with Him!

I so very much encourage you to find time each and every day to spend alone with God, with the Bible, rejoicing in His presence and expressing to Him your Thanksgiving! Come away from the busyness of this life! Come away and spend time alone with the Lord! Show and tell Him how very, very, very thankful you are in your time alone with Him and throughout the day and night even in the time that you have not set apart for just you and Him!

“My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.” Song of Solomon 2:10 KJV
