Have you ever considered that God’s healing, His salvation, His deliverance, His freedom, His provision, His Truth, His new life, His ways, His forgiveness, His mercy, His compassion, His comfort, and all of His other endless blessings are not exclusively designed so that you can keep them to yourself? Do you know what Jesus told the man who now that he was healed wanted to go off to be with Him? Jesus told Him NO. But why?
Listen to what Jesus told the man.
“Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee…” Luke 8:38-39 KJV).
Now hear how the man responded to what Jesus told Him.
“…And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.” Luke 8:39 KJV
Not only did the man proclaim to his household what Jesus had done for him, but he told the entire city!
Have you ever considered that the gifts and miracles and blessings you receive from the Lord are not meant for you to keep just to yourself, or even merely to you and your loved ones? Have you considered that Jesus is asking more of you than this?
