If there is anything in the world I have discovered when it comes to those of us who have been broken in any way, it is that it can seem impossible to truly believe that God really loves us. No matter how many times people tell us, “God loves you,” how can we really believe it?

Why should we believe our friends, or a pastor, or a counselor, or some random person just because they say God loves us? If they really knew us, if they really knew our histories, how we have been hurt and the mistakes we have made and those we keep making, they would know God can’t possibly REALLY love us, right? Have you ever thought that way? Are you thinking that way right now?
If you have any problem believing God really does love you, do yourself a favor. Never mind what everyone else has to say about it. Let God speak for Himself. But how? Here is how. The Bible is God’s Word, right? So let Him tell you Himself.
The Bible says God loves you to such an extreme that He sacrificed His only Son by sending Him to the cross to pay the penalty for your sins so you can repent and believe in Jesus as Lord and have everlasting life.
And if you think you are so unique that you are an exception to God’s love for His creation, think again. The Bible says that God “so loved THE WORLD…” You’re in this world, aren’t you? Then you’re included.
When you place your faith in Jesus and what He did on the cross for you, and you learn to follow Him, you can look forward to eternity in heaven with God. But His love for you isn’t reserved just for eternity. His love for you is right now also – even in this very moment.

Moment by moment, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year, and for eternity! There is no greater love than His, and that love is yours for the taking. Imagine, the greatest love in the world, and the only love that is 100% unconditional and everlasting, can be yours. Ready to receive it?
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16-18
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,… John 1:12 NASB
