Don’t Forget to Love!

God’s greatest commands are to love Him with all our hearts and to love each other. He reminds us over and again in the Bible to love. We are to love continually in our thoughts, words, and actions – and to repent when are not. I believe we all need this reminder. DON’T FORGET TO LOVE!

Whatever we do in life, wherever we are in life, whomever we are with in life, no matter our circumstances, absolutely no matter what, we are to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with the love God gives us by His Holy Spirit. Simply put, we are to “walk in love”!

We could do everything right in the eyes of God but forget to love. And without love, we are nothing and are living in disobedience to God.

If you find yourself having trouble loving, cry out to God for the love you need to love!

Please, friend, don’t forget to love! Amen!

“And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.” Ephesians 5:2 NKJV

“Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘HEAR, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE. AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” Mark 12:29-31 NKJV

“Let all that you do be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 NKJV

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 NKJV
