I am a very emotional person. This can be good. And this can be bad. Can you relate?
It is wonderful when I use my emotions to love and serve and glorify God, to love and serve and show sensitivity and compassion and care toward others, to pray for people, etc.
But it can be very, very bad when I let my emotions rule and reign in my life. Which includes letting my emotions make decisions instead of God.
Jesus Christ is Lord! We and our emotions are not lord!
Our emotions are not supposed to rule and reign! Jesus is! He and He alone is LORD!
We are to believe in Jesus and surrender ourselves to His lordship, to His control, to His ruling and reigning in our lives. Our emotions are not supposed to control us.
Jesus is to be our decision-maker!
Resist the temptation to let your emotions make your decisions.
Pray to God for HIS will, seek Him, wait on Him, read the Bible, hear Him, seek godly counsel from Jesus followers as you are led to help know God’s will for you.
Make your decisions according to God and His will for you! AMEN!
