“Another beautiful day!” I exclaimed joyfully to two ladies as I walked by them with paralyzed ministry dog Miss Mercy in her wheelchair and special needs ministry dog Gracie by Miss Mercy’s side.
Albeit there were some clouds in the sky, but the weather was wonderfully warm for late October and surely the sunshine would push through the clouds and brighten the heavens.
“Yes,” they agreed.
Then I did what I love to do more than anything when I speak with people. In a world clouded by darkness, evil, sorrow, bad news, and on and on, I love to point people to the light of the world – the Lord Jesus Christ!
“Thank God for the weather!” I essentially said though I don’t recall the exact words.
Every breath we take, whether alone or with people, whether with loved ones or crossing paths with strangers, whether at work or on vacation, no matter where we are, what we are doing, who is with us, who we are walking by, etc., we have an opportunity to express our love to the Lord Jesus Christ and to tell the world about Him and point people to Him.
Jesus Christ, Son of God, Son-light of this ever-darkening world! Glorious, magnificent, splendorous, wonderful, beautiful, lovely and wondrous Lord and Savior of the world!
Every step we take, we have an opportunity to love and worship and glorify God and when we are in the presence of others to proclaim Him to the world.
