Ready for the five reasons I write about hell?
- Because it’s real
- Because some people will spend forever apart from God in eternal torment in hell and the lake of fire
- Because I love the Lord more than anything or anyone in the universe
- Because I love people including you
- Because if I really love God and I really love people including you, then I’m going to help people find an indescribably personal relationship with God now and forever in heaven instead of in everlasting torment even if I am continually hated and rejected on this earth for telling the Truth.
Sure, I could preach the false prosperity Gospel and have a zillion people love me because I talk all about worldly riches and pleasure, but REAL LOVE doesn’t tell lies to be popular and get attention and live for self and sin, for worldly fleeting earthly treasures, and to satisfy fleshly lusts while the world stampedes forth on the highway to hell licking its chops over its self-centered lifestyle with its back turned in rebellion to Jesus Christ.
Real love tells the TRUTH. In love. Without sugar-coating it. Or pretending it’s not what it is, or that it is what it isn’t. I don’t go around patting people on the back and singing, “Jesus loves you, Jesus loves you, just love Jesus and go to church and one day you’ll go to heaven.”
The TRUTH? In love? Is this. The ONLY WAY to a forever relationship with God and to escape His wrath to come, judgment, condemnation, hell, and the lake of fire is to be BORN AGAIN by being forgiven by God by confessing and believing Jesus is the Son of God, came to this earth as God in the flesh, died a heinous death on the cross to pay the penalty of the world’s sins, was raised from the dead, sits on God’s right hand now in heaven until He returns – and to TURN from your sins, to TURN to God and His ways, and to LIVE FOR CHRIST by the power of God’s Spirit who lives inside believers, and to practice a LIFESTYLE of LOVING, WORSHIPING, and LIVING FOR God FOREVER! Jesus loves you so much He died for you. I love you so much I’m telling you the TRUTH. If you’re a born again Christ follower, join me in our responsibility to tell others the TRUTH.
