What if every time you find yourself complaining you make the decision to be praising the Lord instead?
From complaining to praising, you could turn every opportunity to be negative, self-pitying, moaning, groaning, whining, etc. into an opportunity to love, praise, bless, and thank the Lord Jesus Christ instead.
Friend, no matter our struggles, no matter our challenges, no matter what is hard and wrong in our lives and in this world, there is always reason to bless, praise, and thank the Lord who deserves our thanksgiving and praise forever and ever!
Complaining and all that goes with it, this is sin against God.
Praising, blessing, and thanking God are what we are called to do continually.
Let us learn to say NO to the complaining and YES to praising!
Let us praise, praise, praise the Lord now and forevermore!
I am going to purpose it in my heart to learn to turn from complaining to praising!
Will you join me?
p.s. Shortly after writing this, this thought came to me. If we choose to bless, praise, and thank the Lord at all times as He calls us to do, how much room in our hearts, mouths, and lives is there for complaining? I daresay none!
Let us praise, bless, and thank the Lord forevermore! Let us be a people of thanksgiving to God and praising Him continually – for eternity! Hallelujah, glory be to the Lord, AMEN!
