God Knows When

“Do not discount I know what is best WHEN,” the Holy Spirit spoke.

He had been talking to me about a strong ministry desire I had, what He wanted me focused on instead, why He had me where He had me location wise given I am on the road full-time for Him and ministry, and now reminded me He not only knows what is best. But His timing for His will is also best. His will and timing are ALWAYS perfect. ALWAYS best!

Wondering when to move? When to marry? When to get a new job? When to retire? When to share the Gospel with someone? When to go on vacation? When to find a different church? When to start teaching Sunday school? When to go out onto the streets and preach the Gospel? When to spend time alone with the Lord and the Bible each day? When to confront someone in love? When to reach out for help? Or anything else?

Ask the Lord! Make sure first and foremost it is His will. Then ask Him about the timing! Pray to Him! Seek Him! Trust Him to answer! Listen for His voice! Wait! For Him to answer! Hear Him when He answers! Don’t resist! Don’t debate! Don’t argue! Don’t rebel! Obey Him! Not only in His will but also in His perfect timing! To God be all the glory, oh yes! AMEN!

Lord, teach us to wait on you, to seek you, to seek your will, to seek your timing, to be patient, and to obey! Help us to discern your voice from the voices of our flesh, this world, others, and their strong opinions, and the devil. Help my readers to dig deep into the Bible daily to learn and grow and to help discern your voice when you speak to them by your Holy Spirit personally to their hearts.

For those who do not have a relationship with you, lead them to repentance, bring them to faith in you Jesus as Lord, cause them to be totally devoted to you, and give them the gift of your Holy Spirit. Give us all a longing to seek, hear, and obey you, oh dear Lord. AMEN!

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.” James 1:5-6
