God’s Beautiful Love

I was down on my knees praying briefly at what felt like the end of a particularly long day not to mention week with some unwelcome challenges when suddenly I felt strongly compelled to thank God for something very specific.

God’s beautiful love. Yes, I prayed those words. Those were the exact words that came to me. Beautiful love. I thanked God for His BEAUTIFUL LOVE. Then something dawned on me. And this is what this message is about.

I believe when we thank God which we should do on a regular basis that we may tend to focus on the blessings right in front of us. The tangible ones. The visible ones. The obvious ones. The ones we can see, hear, taste, and touch, and feel up close and personal.

Like family, friends, houses, money, vacations, job promotions, cars, healing, food, clothing, good preaching at church, a beautiful wedding, a newborn baby, a military serviceman returning from overseas, passing exams and graduating, dogs being rescued then adopted, winning a court case, a good happy movie, grandchildren visiting, etc.

But there is nothing and nobody more important to be thankful for than GOD who gives us all of this. And than His BEAUTIFUL LOVE and a forever relationship with Him that comes when we repent, believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and in His death and resurrection, and turn to God and His ways.

I encourage you to meditate on God’s BEAUTIFUL LOVE in your own life, in the lives of others, on this earth, in this world, in heaven, in the Bible, in your heart, and how He bestows it upon us and expresses it and demonstrates it and manifests it each and every day. Hallelujah!

Thank you, dear Father, thank you dear Lord, thank you dear God, thank you, thank you forever and ever for your everlasting BEAUTIFUL LOVE. AMEN!
