God’s Tender Loving Mercy

0

One day I thanked the Lord for His tender loving mercy. Why? Most obviously because God is worthy of praise, honor, thanksgiving, and worship continually no matter our experiences, circumstances, thoughts, feelings, etc. But I had a very specific reason at the time. God had led me to repentance for a whole bunch of sin in my heart and the lack of forgiveness I had toward someone. And once again, He had forgiven me. I was so exceedingly thankful to the Lord for His love, patience, kindness, tenderness, and mercy with me not just then but for all of this He has bestowed upon me through the years.

It’s one thing to thank the Lord for the physical blessings He gives us, and well we should tell Him how thankful we are for these gifts of His. But there is nothing more important in the universe to be thankful for than for THE LORD, FOR JESUS’ DEATH & RESURRECTION, FOR FOREVER LIFE WITH GOD THROUGH REPENTANCE AND OUR LIVES BEING COMMITTED TO GOD AND HIS WAYS, FOR A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, FOR HIS LOVE, COMFORT, COMPASSION, KINDNESS, TENDERNESS, GENTLENESS, FELLOWSHIP, LORDSHIP, FRIENDSHIP, WISDOM, GRACE, AND FORGIVENESS, AND FOR HIS COUNTLESS OTHER SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS – INCLUDING HIS SWEET BLESSED GENEROUS GRACIOUS MERCY!

When was the last time you stopped to thank and praise God for His tender loving mercy – and for His endless marvelously wonderfully amazingly awesome countless other blessings?

Oh, Lord, thank you, thank you, thank you – for YOU, oh Lord! For your salvation! For your tender loving mercy! For this message reminding us all Father God to be thankful and to realize how astoundingly wonderfully blessed we are to receive your love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Thank you for being so tender with us, oh Lord! For your kindness! For your lovingkindness! Even as a woman of words, as a long-time writer and reader, I truly would never have sufficient words to thank you, oh God, for all you are, have done, are doing, and will do oh Lord for us all, dear God, AMEN!
